As a repairer, I see some of the grimiest guitars that you can imagine! Some of them take ages to clean up and require special treatments before they look right again, while some have permanent damage to the finish and hardware.

Yet with a quick wipe of a cloth after playing and fine mist of a good guitar cleaner (we always use Tapastring) to remove more stubborn marks you can really freshen up your guitar and help keep it free from corrosive sweat, abrasive particles and general gunge.

A little, light care for your guitar should stave off the need for more extreme treatments, keep it in good order and generally make it more playable for you.
